About
Mission
CTRL+ designs and builds optical metrology instruments for the inspection of sand control filters and industrial filtration media. Our purpose is simple: turn invisible filter quality into a documented, comparable measurement — so manufacturers can prove their work and operators can trust what they install.
The iceberg
The iceberg has been our signature for a reason. The visible part of a filter tells you almost nothing about the slot geometry, the wire profile or the aperture distribution that actually drive performance. CTRL+ instruments measure the part that stays hidden — and bring it to the surface, in numbers, on a report.
What we build
Five measurement instruments, one calibrated standard:
- most+ — portable optical inspection, on the filter
- bost+ — laboratory bench for full filter characterisation
- mbost+ — compact mobile bench
- olmost+ — in-line measurement for production
- osmart+ — real-time process control
Each instrument outputs the same calibrated metrics, so a measurement made on a portable in the field reads the same as one made on the lab bench.
Arcadia+ is the data platform that ties them together — a family of applications: an on-instrument software running on the THT7 computer that performs the measurement and transmits it to the cloud apps, plus Arcadia Report+, Arcadia QM+, Arcadia SQC+ and Arcadia SPC+ for archiving, analytics, quality management and process control.
Industries
Built for sand control filters in oil & gas, our instruments also serve water wells, geothermal, paper, mining, petrochem and process filtration — wherever a filter needs to be qualified against a specification.
